Robin Leduc - Laissez Moi Passer

Back in the 70’s, French artists were taking American jazz and post-colonial Afrobeat, tossing it into a heavy disco echo chamber and making fresh dance sounds all their own, in the way French do best. This young Parisian writes music that decsends from those artists - Serge Gainsbourg, Patrick Juvet, Brigitte Fontaine and Areski Belkacem.

The stunning stop-motion video by La Maison Démontable follows him around the city as he ‘skis’ his way. Love it. Pick up his new album “Hors Pistes” from Tôt Ou Tard
